If you'd like to try Windows 7 Beta without replacing your existing Windows XP or Vista, you can Dual-Boot Windows 7 Beta with your existing Operating System.

It hasn't been available for a while. I have a beta version and serial number but I haven't installed it yet.

Now that Windows 7 has been released to manufacturing, this thread is mote & beta is no longer applicable.
I have had my Windows 7 upgrade since last October but haven't installed it yet.

btw I had a taste of Windows 7 with my cousin's new laptop and there are a few differences between it and Vista. Both are very different from XP.

Never experienced Vista here -- I have the Windows 7 Update CD set but haven't installed it yet.  Have been shopping for a new main computer with Windows 7 preinstalled, then this computer will get the OS updated to 7 and move to the bedroom location.

Did you run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor on your computer to make sure it can be upgraded?

Yeah, ran it and I'm OK except for Norton Speed Disk which hasn't worked for awhile anyhow.
